Why did I choose to call this blog Quality Perception, you might be wondering...
Well, take the word 'quality' for instance. If something is done with quality, it is done with our best thoughts, intents, and efforts. I like to think of the word in a
Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance sense (a book which, if you have not read, you should).
And of course, perception is simply our view of the world, from large, wide-ranging events, down to the simplest of things.
Whats my goal here?
Speaking from my own experience, sometimes it is sickeningly easy to overlook important things, as I brush them off as insignificant. Even worse is when I take for granted something that I should question. And like every other human being on the planet, I can be wrong - I'm not afraid to admit it. Although, I've found that when I take some quality time to analyze whatever issues are at hand, and especially
write them down I see more clearly.
This blog is really not intended to be
about me personally, so much as
for me. Sometimes, I have to write things down on paper before they make sense. But, I hope this space can also be a forum for others' opinions and arguments. Everyone needs to be able to see things from someone else's perspective. And what better way to get a wide range of arguments and perspectives is there, than to post your own on the internet!
